The boater education card is proof that you have successfully completed a boating safety course. The boater education card does not expire and does not need to be renewed. Therefore, it is NOT a Kansas Boating License!
The online boat safety course and online boat test have been reviewed and approved by the Kansas Department of Wildlife and Parks. Completing this course will allow you to obtain your Kansas Boater Education Card.

Register for the boating safety course and boating license test for free. You pay a one-time fee once you have passed the test and wish to obtain your Boater Education Card.
A boater education card is required for anyone under 21* born on or after January 1, 1989 who operate any motorboat or sailboat on Kansas waters.
