New Hampshire Boating Regulations and Laws
An educated boater is a safer boater. In fact, educated boaters are 5 times less likely to be involved in an accident.
In New Hampshire, anyone operating a vessel propelled by a motor of 25 hp or greater, must have successfully
completed a boater safety course approved by the New Hampshire Department of Safety, and have the Boater Education
Certificate onboard the vessel.
