WYOMING REGISTRATION REQUIREMENTS
Wyoming Game and Fish Department (WGFD):
The WGFD is responsible for regulating the state boating laws in Wyoming.
REGISTRATION/TITLING
All boats propelled by machinery, including gasoline, diesel and electric motors, and principally operated on Wyoming waters must be registered with the Wyoming Game and Fish Commission (WGFD). Exceptions to this law include the following:

Vessels registered in another state and not in Wyoming for a period greater than 90 consecutive days

Vessels owned by the United States government, a state or one of its subdivisions. This does not include vessels used for recreational purposes.

Vessels documented with the United States Coast Guard

Documented boats that are in Wyoming for a period of greater than 90 days have to be registered.
