Mississippi Boater Safety Course
In Mississippi, operators born after June 30, 1980, are required to complete a boater safety course approved by the Mississippi Department of Wildlife, Fisheries and Parks in order to operate a motorized vessel. Operators are required to carry their boater education card or certificate as proof of boater education.
Boating Age Requirements
Operators (including PWC) less than 12 years of age must be under the direct supervision of a competent adult who is at least 21 years old and is qualified to operate the vessel.
