The boater education card is proof that you have successfully completed a boating safety course.The boater education card does not expire and does not need to be renewed. Therefore, it is NOT an Arizona Boating License!
The online boat safety course and online boat test have been reviewed and approved by the Arizona Game and Fish Department. Completing this course will allow you to obtain your Arizona Boating Safety Education Certificate.
The online boat safety course can be studied at any time, free of charge! You only pay once you have passed the boating license test!

Before you take the 60-question Arizona Boating Safety test, test your knowledge with a practice test at the end of every chapter of the course.
Register for the boating safety course and exam for free. You pay a one-time fee once you have passed the course and wish to obtain your Boating Safety Education Certificate.
Except in case of emergency, no person under the age of 12 years may operate a watercraft propelled by a motor of greater than eight horsepower, unless the person’s parent or legal guardian or at least one person who is 18 years or older is present on the watercraft.
