  • 60 Questions (multiple choice)
  • 80% needed to pass (48 right answers)
  • No time limit — Review any wrong answers
STEP 3: Get your Florida Boating Safety Education ID Card
  • Once you pass your exam, the Florida Fish & Wildlife Conservation Commission will mail you your Card in approximately 2 to 3 weeks.

Did you know...?

Many boaters use the term "Florida Boating License" when referring to their Boating Safety Education ID Card. The Florida Boating Card is NOT a boating license. Unlike a driver's license, your Boating Education Card cannot be revoked and is good for life.
